Do you any interesting facts about Astronomy? If you don't, here are some facts that I personally believe to find very interesting.
*The Sun produces so much energy, that every second the core releases the equivalent of 100 billion Nuclear Bombs
*Venus is considerably hotter than Mercury, even though it is further away from the Sun.
*Every year the moon is moving away from the Earth by 3 cm
*Mercury is the second smallest planet in the solar system and has no moon. It can get as hot as 800º C and cold as 300º C below zero. One year on Mercury is equal to 88 days on Earth.
*Constellations are formed of bright stars which appear close to each other on the sky, but are really far apart in space. The shapes you see all depend on your point of view.
This is what i find to be very cool about astronomy. It is one of the most curiosity of science.
