Last DAy

Wow this day finally came ! I just can't believe it is the last day of school. Morover, it doesn't even feel like it. However, i am gonna miss my friends and some of my teachers. The scary part is that i have my global and math regents tomorrow!!!! Wow tonnight i gota study harder than i ever had mostl;y for global because it is one of the subjects i have trouble in. Other than that math is one of my best, i got this.

Truth Vs Lie

"The greater the truth, the greater the libel." Well, if you don't know the meaning, it is when your telling the truth but it is seen as a lie. You may be wondering how could that be. Well there are many reason why this is possible. For instance, when the media try to get dirt on a celebrity to captivate the public's eyes. My point is that when the media get something true about a celebrity people would be like " no this can't be true" even though it is. However, understand why people would not believe media. They wouldn't beleive the media because the media is known to be untruthful about some of the things they release to the world.

Moreover, I found this quote to be true when I actually witness a friend trying to protect me from getting into trouble. My friend is known to be a "so called liar" because everything she says contradicts. However, she told me to not trust my best friend because she would talk horrible things about me behind my back. I was like "yeah whatever I'm not gonna believe you". Unfortunately, I was wrong, I actually witness my best friend talk about me and that is when I realized "the greater the truth, the greater the libel".

Disaster in The Gulf of Mexico

Wow!! At first I really didn't think that the oil spill was a big of a deal. However, from obtaining more reports about the oil spill I realized the spill is getting worse by the hour. I am very touched to know that all the wild lives in the Gulf of Mexico are at risk of whether or not if they are going to survive. Then again I am also worried because not only will the sea creature be affected, we will also have a shortage of sea food that will also affect the sea food companies. Secondly, there are so many alternatives to over come this crisis yet, these alternatives choices are not believed to permanently prevent the oil spill from getting worse. For instance, BP PLC is now collecting 15,000 barrels of oil a day and hopes to boost that to 28,000 barrels a day in the next several days. OMG!! That requires a lot of hard work to collect that amount of oil. Nevertheless, it is a divine attempt but not the best. The deluxe about this is that it is an effort to save the innocent sea animals. It is also not the greatest because you can't really predict how long this will go on because collecting barrels of oil everyday I will unfortunately will become very lazy.

ONE MOre WEEk

OMG!! The day of the regents are alomst here. Even though it is a week from now my heart is pounding so hard that it feels like it is gonna drop out on to the floor. ( Cant imagine how i will feel on the actual day!) Anyways, I am very scared that something will go wrong because the regents i am taking are going to determine weather or not i am going to get my advanced regents diploma. Ugggh!! However, I have some confident left in me, i am so not gonna give up so easily. Ima take my time to understand all tha i am doing on the regents. Oh yeah !!! my anniversary with my boyfriend is next week!! LOL

Food Review

Food Review: From observing the way the food were presented it made me even more hungry. The food were all organized in a way of how most restaurant serve their food. For example, in the restaurants they first serve you appetizers, then the salad , and then it is the real stuff. In addition, the color of the food were enriched in its appearance. Each dish had an outstanding color that literary made me said “wow”.
1st dish: Fried Chicken
From inspecting the fried chicken, I was mostly into the appearance because the chicken had this stunning color of caramel that it was to pretty to be eaten. From tasting the chicken I believe the chicken was a little dry for the reason that it was over cooked that all you taste is how crispy the chicken is. Moreover, the over cooked chicken made the chicken very stiffed that the meat was like chewing hard chewing gum. Other than that, it was the manifestation of the chicken that captivated people to eat the fried chicken.
2nd dish: French Fries
The color of the French fries were a vivid yellow of freshness. In addition, it was very thorough in appearance and taste. From taking my first bite I was blown away by the flavor. The fries were crispy enough that you can also taste the creaminess of the potatoes. In addition, it was the first dish that craved me for seconds.
3rd dish: Chicken with Broccoli
This dish is a burst of flavor. I was astonish by the orangery color of the chicken and the bright green broccoli. Furthermore, I was very contended about tasting this dish. The chicken was not over crisped because you can taste the juiciness of the meat and the smoothness of the glazed chicken. Yet, the broccoli were luscious and crisps that you automatically know that it was fresh.
From critiquing these dishes I would rate them together on a scale of 4 stars. The first two stars represents the presentation of the food and the appearance. The other two stars are for the flavor.

The Japanese Dish that I would like to try from 15 East is the Wild Salmon Five Ways. I specifically chose this dish because salmon is one of my favorite types of fish that basically in my opinion, taste very luscious in any way it is prepared.

In Club Macanudo, a Cuban club/restaurant I would be very delighted to try the French Dip. It is thinly sliced roast beef with caramelized onions and melted Swiss cheese, served on their style of toasted ciabatta bread with dipping sauce. Yummmmy!!

From reading the superb comments on the Cuban restaurant, Sazon, I started to crave for the tasty Puerto Rican food. The one dish that I would love to try is the Chicharrón de Pollo (Crispy, fried marinated chicken chunks). Wow!! This dish is so captivating because fried chicken that is well seasoned to me is very succulent.

Buenos Aires aka The Argentina Restaurant have many divine food choices. The one that I would love to try is the Suprema de Pollo Napolitana. It is breaded chicken breast, topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella.

In Blaue Gans Restaurant I would try the Beef Sirloin Schnitzel with Wild Arugula and Shaved Parmesan. I would like to try this because I never ever had beef sirloin with Parmesan cheese. Wow! This dish seem like it is a burst of flavors.

My Critiques

From having the wonderful experience at 15 West I was blown away that the atmosphere was like a hotel of everything you can imagine. It was very tranquillizing that you can hear the person next to you breath. In addition, the food is what made this place to be what it is for the reason that the staggering smell of the food being prepared right in front of me. My most favorite was the Wild Salmon Fives Ways. I specifically chose this dish because salmon is one of my favorite types of fish that basically in my opinion, taste very luscious in any way it is prepared. However, the one I considered to be most delectable is the Miso Flavored Salmon in Foil Packets Recipe. The fish was fresh with fresh ingredients. This Japanese-style salmon in foil packet is simply steamed in a skillet, so it's easy to make. The main seasoning is miso, and the sweet and salty flavors of miso based sauce go well with salmon and other ingredients, such as enoki mushrooms. ( I would rate this restaurant to a *****)

Club Macanudo is what I call the "medicine of my day". What I mean is that I go here everyday to relax and just have fun of letting myself loose of all problems. The cool part about this is that Club Macanudo is a club/ restaurant. One thing I can definitely guarantee about Club Macandudo is that the atmoshpere is what you call "home". The place is filled with comfy couches with beautiful paintings of Manhattan. Moreover, the food is delicious. I really loved the French Dip, it is thinly sliced roast beef with caramelized onions and melted Swiss cheese, served on their style of toasted ciabatta bread with dipping sauce. Yummmmy!! Now this what I'm talking about, the aroma was so captivating that my mouth started to water while the waitress was on her way of delivering the food. ( I would rate this restaurant to a *****)

Sazon is one of the best restaurants that knows how to prepare Puerto Rican food. Everything they prepared is just the way you want it. For instance, I started to crave for the tasty Chicharrón de Pollo (Crispy, fried marinated chicken chunks). From taking one bite of the chicken I was dazzle that this fried chicken was very succulent with the burst of flavors that I would always want more and more no matter how stuff I am. Another divine thing about this restaurant is the presentation. The designs were very old fashion that it takes you back to all the good memories of being in the 70s. There were disco balls flashing out the vibrant colors in all types of patterns. In addition, the waiters were all dresses like the people in the 70s.They wore tacky tie dye shirts, bell-bottoms, tight leather pants, jeans with holes in them, tacky shoes, etc.That what I find really intriguing about this particular Puerto Rican restaurant.( I would rate this restaurant to a *****)

Buenos Aires is the restaurant that is bringing back the importance of its culture. For example, the menus would each have an important figure on the backgrounds that represents why Argentina is the way it is today. Anyway, the food is what I really came for because I heard from the past critics that there is no restaurant that tops Buenos Aires' cooking. They all said that I needed to try the Suprema de Pollo Napolitana. It is breaded chicken breast, topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella. One thing I can say about this cuisine is that the past critics are right about the things they said. This dish was beyond what I expected, it was so tasty that this is something I would be able to eat everyday happily.( I would rate this restaurant a *****)

Blau Gans is obviously known to be "unique". The design on the walls all consists of weird looking objects that made this place to be very beautiful on the inside. Basically every corner you turn there is something yet to discover. From observing this place, I was thinking that the food would be very different as in the way it is organized on a plate. On the contrary, the food was very normal but outstanding. I had eaten the Beef Sirloin Schnitzel with Wild Arugula and Shaved Parmesan. It was the best I ever had in the history of eating beef sirloins. ( I would rate this restaurant a ****)

Big City BBQ

BBQ is one of my favorite restaurants to have dinner at. As soon as you get there the waitresses will lead you right to your seat depending on the amount of guesses there are to serve. Moreover, the service is very quick . All you have to do is call the waitress over to get your order and wait only about 10 minutes. Another thing I like about this restaurant is the atmosphere. It is very calm and relaxing. What I mean the walls are painted in a soothing orangy color that reminds you of the wonderful view of the sunset. In addition, the prices for the food dish are sort of expensive, however, a plate can serve like two people. Wow! Just imagine two big servings of your favorite food. You should also know that the restaurant is very clean and organize about how the food is served. One of my favorite dishes is the honey Barbecue chicken. It is so good that you are going to want more and more no matter how full you are from eating. The flavor of it is so stupendous with it dazzling dark red honey flavor.If I was ever a critic, I would give this restaurant a perfect five star even though it is rated a 4.5.
