Today we had an assignment, which is to write a review about one of our favorite TV shows or movies. I decided to write my review about Avatar The Last Air Bender. It is one of the most well known show on Nickelodeon. It has been nominated for and won many awards from the Annual Annie Award, the Genesis Award, the prime time Emmys Award and a Peabody Award . However, It is not only entertaining. It contain a blend of many cultures. For instance, Chinese martial arts and the combination of anime and U.S. domestic cartoons.
It is about the main protagonist Aang and his friends who are on an adventure to bring peace to the world by defeating the malevolent Fire Lord to end the destructive war with the Fire Nation. During their adventure Aang the Avatar, will discover and learn new things about his abilities and past lives.
I strongly recommend that you watch this show because it is filled with amusement that you'll never want it to end. You will become a fan just like me and realize why millions of audiences and critics viewed this show to have a high rating in the Nicktoons lineup.
